Hi, my name is Gilles, I'm Swiss, I'm 25 years old, and I'm a member of Cross Team Legendre since June 2021.

Serious, family oriented, ambitious

At what age did you start cycling?

I started cycling when I was 14-15 years old, in small regional races around my home. Of course, I had been cycling since I was a kid, but it was never my sport.

Your best memory on the bike?

During the Swiss championships in Sion, very close to my home, I won the bronze medal in the U23 category, in front of my family, my friends and many acquaintances.

Your favorite race?

The World Cup in Namur, for its cobblestones, its descents, its atmosphere, and its fries!

Do you have a nickname in the business?

In the team I'm also known as the "Great Swiss".

Do you have any passions outside of cycling?

I like everything related to astronomy, mountains, but also the creation of small electronic projects.

Do you have a story to tell us?

When we were in training camp with Steve in Nice, almost every ride ended with a waffle or a Nutella pancake. During the next race weekend, we were teased by his colleagues on Eurosport throughout the race for our "addiction" to Nutella ;-)
